The Rajasthan state government conducts a state-level administrative services examination called, ‘Rajasthan State and Subordinate Services Combined Competitive Exam.’ It is also known as RAS/RTS Combined Competitive Examination. Currently, recruitment for the year 2018 is underway while future aspirants must be waiting for the fresh notification from the authority.
It is expected that the Commission will release the 2021 notification on its official website soon. RAS Result for Rajasthan Combined Competitive Examination 2018 will be released post the completion of the final stage i.e. the interview. Rajasthan PSC 2018 interview will run till 7th May 2021.

- Planning a schedule for at least a year – The administrative examinations of the state are no less than All-India examinations. The span of the examination spreads across three tiers – Prelims, Mains and Interview. It is a lengthy recruitment process which takes a rock-solid preparation from candidates to crack the exam.
Hence, aspiring candidates should plan a year in advance about the weekly, monthly and yearly plan of studies.
- Get the books well in advance – Though it might sound too much planning but it is often suggested that candidates should filter down the books they are actually interested in. This way, there is less possibility of candidates getting distracted. Usually, candidates buy too many books thinkings, state-examinations require too much reading. Though it is partially correct; but it doesn’t depend on too many books. Candidates have to go through the same books repeatedly over a period of time to retain the most important information.
- Categorize your favourite and least favorite subjects – It means that a candidate must evaluate their interest in the subjects asked in the RAS syllabus. - Study in batches – It is a known fact that preparing for state-level administrative examinations need long hours of preparation. However, one should have a way out from the monotony. - Use best-known revision techniques – Revision is the key of any examination but one must know how often to revise. It is a good practise to take one topic three times. The first time, the topic is new to the learner and often candidates remember new stuff. Second revision should be on the same day before you sleep. This way, it sticks to your memory. Third revision should be on a weekly basis. Gradually, one will learn the weak spots in his/her preparation and can modify their revision accordingly.

- Practise answer-writing from an early stage – RAS has 4 descriptive type papers in the mains stage of the examination. Questions from wide-ranging topics are asked. Mostly candidates take tests either online or they bring test copies at home and take these at their own convenience. With such a practise chances are there that candidates don’t take tests seriously or take a peek into the answers. Therefore, it is recommended to take tests with seriousness and score your preparation honestly.
